specification. This period cottage in Abbey village enjoys an idyllic position nestled in the Lancashire valleys. Charming, characterful and steeped in history its sits beautifully within a garden full of intrigue and potential. Our task was to revive the existing stonework and create bespoke personal features.

The design centered entirely around that view. Having built the living feature wall adjacent to the kitchen we relayed the York stone flags, opening up a new entertaining patio. We budgeted extra room to accommodate natural shade, protected drainage a large entertaining area with entrances to both the orangery and kitchen. Bespoke personal features included a carefully laid pebble art mosaic and a vibrantly planted retaining wall with an inbuilt bespoke stone seat....a perfect resting place for our busy gardener and her family. The lines are sharp built studiously fashionable so the patio will always feel comfortable in its setting.
